Liner Size

Determine your liner dimensions

Figure out desired length, width, and depth. A 10×10 liner results in a 6×6 water garden. Formula: dimension + (depth × 2) + 2 ft per side.

Depth

Water garden vs. koi pond

Water gardens are most commonly 1.5 ft deep. Koi ponds require at least 3 ft depth to protect fish from freezing during winter months.

EPDM vs PVC

Both are fish and wildlife safe

EPDM vs PVC

Both are fish and wildlife safe

EPDM is more adaptive, durable, and flexible — 25-year warranty. PVC is budget-friendly — 5-year warranty. Both work; EPDM is the upgrade.
