Shock Wave UV In-Line Ultraviolet Clarifiers create healthy, clear pond environments for fish by eliminating free floating organic materials. This rugged, industrial strength UV sterilizer emits radiation in the form of ultraviolet light in a confined environment helps eliminate free-floating organisms from the water in your pond or water garden. UV Clarifiers control algae growth by nullifying small protozoa, fungi and viruses which active algae needs to feed on to survive. Ultraviolet Clarifiers are not filters, as they detoxify the water rather than providing filtration.

Sterilizers kill the unicellular algae which are mainly responsible for green water. In-Line UV sterilizers consist of a quartz glass tube within a tube, where water flows through an outer tube and over the UV lamp that is housed in the inner quartz glass tube.
