The built-in skimming action pulls floating debris into a rigid leaf basket for quick, mess-free removal while filter media supports beneficial bacteria that convert fish waste, ammonia, and toxins into harmless compounds. The unit also shields and conceals pumps and plumbing, extending equipment life and improving overall filtration efficiency. Compatible with optional 8.5" or 16" faceplates and features a patented integrated UV system option (sold separately) for chemical-free green water control.
